You can watch the Deadpool 2: The Final Trailer
Yes, the sequel of our favorite superhero with a twisted sense of humor receives huge praise in the form of exceptionally high scores among test screening audiences. Now that’s something that we cannot just let pass after having hangovers from Infinity War! Will it surpass Avengers? That’s ambitious, but who knows?
So, the sequel, to release May 18th, is said to be receiving marks as high as 98 following two previous screenings’ scores of 91 and 97, respectively! Like wow! Indeed higher than the first Deadpool movie that received a mark of 91 ahead of its release in 2016. It had a gross of $783m globally.
The final test taking place in Dallas, showcased two separate cuts simultaneously, one receiving 94 and the other 98; Fox is said to release the latter cut.
This is really giving us more excitement and build up to this coming 18th! Yes, just a few days from now! What’s not to be hyped about?
So, how is the scoring done? Now, test screenings of films will ask recruited audience members to rate different versions of films using boxes marked excellent, very good, good, fair, and poor. Now that’s an easy task to do, isn’t it? I’d love to do that myself for all the coming movies this year! What a job!
Going back to screening, crew members attended the final test screenings with one audience member describing the atmosphere to the Super Bowl. Surely, are we not at all jealous? Can we be part of this lucky audience members next time? Wonder what’s the requirement to be a part of them.
Heard about Deadpool 2 doing reshoots? Yes, they did. Reshoots were done following its previous two test screenings with reports revealing a secret cameo was added. Who could that be? That’s for us to see. Worry not, 18th is almost here. Though, truth be told, for us fans, it is perhaps not soon enough.
The sequel sees Josh Brolin play the villainous role of Cable alongside newcomers with Zazie Beetz (Domino) and JUlian Dennison. Morena Baccarin, T.J. Milkler, Stefan Kapcic and Brianna Hildebrand will all return.
So like its predecessor, the sequel, starring Ryan Reynolds as the wise-cracking anti-hero once again, also seems to have scaffold humor with no restrictions that made the character such a favourite among comic-book readers. And of course, coming from this, another R-rated film, we can expect a lot of violence and perfectly chosen cuss words — hey, that’s Deadpool, an anti-hero who embraces the ridiculousness of being a mutant. We are promised to see a filthier, bloodier, more violent and more action-filled scenes on the sequel, thanks to a new team of mutants called X-Force that Wade Wilson formed.
That deserves all these high scores, yeah?
Question, are we really given the genuine synopsis of the film? Well, we have interconnected what we saw, heard, and read from our sources. With its marketing and promotion, it is hard to tell what is genuine and what is spoof. Clearly, they’re doing their homework to make fans flock to the theaters at dawn on the 18th! Let us expect the seats to be jam-packed with all these publicities of this sequel.
What we know about the synopsis is this: After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
So what do you think guys! Understandably and inarguably, this is our Deadpool!
In addition, we now know that unlike the first movie that he was alone beating his opponents, in the sequel, he will need back up to completely thrash the Cable guy who’s from the future and so intent to come within our time to kill that one mutant boy. With his eagerness to wipe that boy out, we can only say that this boy prolly has the biggest impact of this future that Cable’s so desperate to change, because why the need to time travel if it’s not so significant for our future? Hhhmmm… excitement crawling on our skin now.
And oh, Deadpool enjoys calling him Thanos!
So our psychopathic hero had to gather his friends old and new to form the X-Force, with one intention to beat Cable up and protect this one mutant boy.
We are so hopeful that we can get a background of this mutant boy before the movie premieres because we are still under a big question mark of this kid’s character. if not, then let us hope that the movie will give us a clearer idea of who and how this mutant kid is going to be.
